In the US data center configuration the branded portfolio level is State: primary utility, ISO, interconnection status, and contracted megawatts against what is operational. The campus, the data hall, the substation and the generator yard are assets on that state.
A data-center asset carries the facility profile — megawatts, cooling, white space, racks. Work orders, vendors and blanket purchase orders stay on the asset after energization. Map View opens the record. Funding for the programme is on the Fund Sheet, not in a side model.

Most legacy PMIS bolt a map onto the side of the portfolio. This map is the portfolio. A pin or a polygon opens the live business-process record — state, asset, programme or project — not a popup you cannot act on.
Layers cover the regional level (state, in the US data center configuration), assets, programmes and projects. Click a state or an asset and the dashboard drills to that roll-up. The demonstration pin is Abernathy HPC Campus — Data Hall Fit-out, Building A, 168 MW, approved, budget $158,760,000. Open Project leaves the map on that record. The same map lives inside Assets and Projects.
Assets
The asset the programme spends against.
Dispositions and depreciations sit on the same asset. Contracted megawatts, lifecycle and the state pin live on the record the map, the work order and the Cost Sheet already share.

- Branded portfolio level
- The operator-named layer in the portfolio hierarchy. In the US data center configuration that level is State. Elsewhere: counties, regions, campus groups, maintenance areas. Click through to the dashboard underneath.
- Assets
- Campus, building, data center, data hall, substation, generator yard, parcel. Unique ID, lifecycle, map pin, and a facility profile — megawatts, cooling, white space, racks — that rolls to the state.
- Asset dispositions
- Sale, transfer, easement grant or decommission of a campus asset. Valuation and finance before the legal transfer.
- Asset depreciations
- Lifecycle value on the asset, not a finance extract reconciled later.
Land & legal
- Leases
- Occupancy on the plot — counterparties, terms, the land it sits on.
- Lease contacts
- Who to call, held against the lease — not a side address book. The demo can label it Book of Reference for markets that use that term.
- Disputes
- Active dispute is a fact on the plot — map, business process and dashboard.
- Permitting
- Statutory process on the land, in the same inbox as the rest of the work.
Operations on the portfolio
- Work orders
- After energization, on the campus asset: switchgear PM, fuel polishing, generator ATS, infrared thermography, plus corrective and warranty work. Completing one charges actual cost to the master agreement, once. The supplier is assigned; they do not sign in. Ball-in-Court lands in My Tasks.
- Vendors
- The approved supplier list for power, cooling, fiber and fire and life safety. Compliance beside the name. Committed, drawn and headroom come from their master agreements.
- BPOs
- A master agreement with one supplier. Total value, drawdown and remaining. ERP sync shows whether actuals have matched. Only an active agreement can be drawn.
- Portfolio-level work orders
- The same work, rolled to the state the dashboard already drills into.
